Red chilli in the Tadka

The ghee heats,
sending intoxicating aroma,
propelling the hunger,
causing mouth to water,
waiting for the ingredients,
to dance in it.

First, the Red Chilli,
enters the simmering heat,
dancing and withering,
causing nostrils to flare

Next the garlic steps in,
aware of it's consequence,
turning golden,
and blending with the ghee.

As Tadka is ready,
the Dal awaits patiently,
for the new comers,
to bring the change,
and enhance the taste
