Wednesdays are yellow
with only two more days to go
for the weekend to start

are back on track
Thursdays are orange
like the sun during the dawn
and evenings of any other day
This is a day that
everyone is getting ready
for what nexts during the weekend
Fridays are red
like the colour of love
Your body and mind
gives up for only reason
that it is end of week
and time to play
Saturdays are purple
with soul and body
playing to tunes of
doing what you like
It’s only play and party
Sundays are grey
with head throbbing
due to pain and hangover
from last day’s party
and no mood to
welcome the week
