Benji Boo

His round eyes
staring deep
into me 
with tiny
pinch of curiosity

His mouth is open
with huge tongue out
waiting for treats
I offer everyday

He is my sweetheart;
who melts my heart
distracting me
taking me to world of his

He is carefree
running around the house,
barking at strangers
sniffing strange smells
is what he does 
while I am out

He eats whatever
he finds chewable;
shoes or biscuits;
chips are his favorite

He wags his tail;
whines for me;
claws the fence
that separates me and him
while I call him
my Benji Boo
