The Ego Cell

The soul is trapped,
Under the layers,
Of apprehensive mind,
Of false judgement,
Of silly misunderstandings,
Of boastful self,
In this wretched ego cell.

Relationships are broken,
Families depart,
Lovers drift,
Friendships are lost,
And soul becomes lonely,
In this wretched ego cell.

Selfishness replaces kindness,
Hatred replaces love,
Head weight replaces giving nature,
Materialistic attitude replaces spirituality.
And negativity takes over,
In this wretched ego cell.

Mind is involved,
In juicy gossips,
In belittling others,
In proving one's worth,
In strategies to bring others down
And everything wrong.

Exaggeration of one's talent,
'I' is more important,
Success becomes obsession,
Everyone becomes problem,
More is less,
And nothing seems good.

When one accepts their flaws,
When one learns to forgive,
When one puts 'us' before 'I',
When  less is more than enough,
Will the soul free itself,
From the wretched ego cell.

Feelings

Feelings can be beautiful,
Like the serene place,
Waiting to be discovered,
As well as provide tranquility,
To everyone and anyone,
Who sets their foot,
On this divine place.

Feelings can be fearful,
Like dark dungeons,
Of enormous cave,
Filled with mystery,
And  hidden risk,
That cause fears,
In our mind.

Feelings can be joyful,
Like the smiley emoticon,
That generates love,
As well as the care,
Happiness and excitement,
And sends message,
To a lost soul,
That 'I will be there for you'.

Feelings can be negative,
Like mighty demon,
Waiting to take his revenge,
Showing off his false ego,
Proving everyone and anyone,
That they are important.

Feelings can be inspiring,
Like the calm spiritual teacher ,
Giving wisdom and lessons,
On life complexities,
And path to liberation,
From mental entanglements

Feelings can be restless,
Like the torrent sea,
Breaking the barriers of land,
Destroying lives and homes,
And bringing disasters,
Wherever it goes.
