Where there is will

Where there is will,
There is way,
There is hope,
There is determination,
And there is resolution.

Where there is will,
There are new ideas,
There is possibility,
There is positivity,
To move ahead.

Where there is will,
There will be doors open,
There will be opportunities,
As well as challenges,
Waiting to be touched.

Where there is  will,
Struggles seems bearable,
Negativity is negligible,
Strength is at peak.

Where there is will,
Mind becomes optimistic,
Levels of energy enhances,
Impossible seems achievable.

Where there is will,
There is way,
Mind blocks disappears,
And road to success is visible.

Happy Vijaydashami

Let the piousness thrive,
Let the light of hope strike,
For the naive souls,
Fighting their inner demons
In form of anxiety, depression and fears.

Let the strength prevail,
Let the calmness set,
For the naive souls,
Fighting their inner battles,
In form of negative emotions, frustration and despair.

Let the truth rise,
Let the lies burn,
Let the battles end,
For the naive souls,
Fighting their never ending struggles,
In form of egos, addiction and habits.

Let the miracles happen,
Let belief in goodness bloom,
For the naive souls,
Fighting their inner conflicts,
In form of heartbreaks, peer pressure and  life choices.

Let the sanity set in,
Let the arrogance melt,
For the naive souls,
Fighting their stubborn ego,
In form of haughtiness, boastful self and false pride.

On this holy day of Dussehra,
Let the good win over evil,
Let the impurity within us,
Get washed away,
By the sound and sight,
Of holy name of Lord.

My mom's lap

My mom's lap,
Soft and comfortable,
A heaven on earth,
A place I can call home.

My mom's lap,
Removes distress,
Vanishes my worries,
Gives me hope,
Boosts up my worth.

Her tender caressing,
My broad forehead,
That's always thinking,
About uncertain future,
And irreversible past.

Her gentle brushing,
My disheveled hair,
Giving me confidence,
A symbol of hope,
That everything will be okay.

My mom's lap,
A place of love,
Affection and compassion,
A place I can call home.

Glories to Lord Krishna

His sweet smile,
His wide lotus eyes,
His curly dark hair,
His blue soft skin,
Enchanted everyone in Gokula,
when he arrived.

His wisdom words,
His stern advises,
His holy name,
His stories,
Can eradicate darkness,
And spread joy.

A loyal friend,
A great teacher,
A wise philosopher,
A loving son,
But nothing can compare,
His love for his devotees

The evening sky

The sun sets,
Slowly dissolving and melting,
Letting the moon to replace,
It's place and shine.

The day is over,
The night begins,
The birds fly,
Back to their chicks,
And dwelling faraway.

The skies are no longer blue,
It's orange sometimes,
It's violet sometimes,
And suddenly turns completely dark.

The stars begin to shine,
The weather is calm,
Pleasant and serene,
With momentary breeze.

Krishna's Meera

To the world,
she was someone's wife,
she was someone's daughter,
she was Rajput royal,
but to her,
she was only Krishna's Meera

She was a child,
naive and curious,
asked her mother,
"who will be my groom?",
her mother smiled,
pointing at Krishna's idol,
saying, "he's the one"

Little did her mother knew,
what she said as a jest,
would be  taken seriously,
her daughter's love,
grew leaps and bound,
as years passed by

Precious gems,
Sparkling ornaments,
Elegant clothes,
nothing attracted her,
more than Lord's name

Every day,
Every minute,
Every second,
she was immersed
in Krishna's name

She was tested,
every walks of her life,
Her in laws conspired,
to execute her,
but nothing stopped her,
from being Krishna's Meera

Writer's Block

Blank spaces,
Empty pages,
Lost words,
Clogged mind,
Unsure where to start or end

Many stories in mind,
Many sagas to unfold,
Many poems to share,
Many thoughts to inspire,
Unsure where to start or end

Pen in hand,
Thoughts in mind,
Staring at the emptiness,
Unsure where to start or end
