Rainy nights

The rainy nights,
of late September,
neither so hot,
nor so cold,
marking the begining
of season of authumn

Wet! Wet! Everywhere!
Tiny droplets
turn into puddles ,
due to imperfect roads;
made to gain votes

The plants,
green and rich again,
relieved from sun
scorching and burning ,
due to man made global warming

Thunders rumbling,
Lightining flickering,
momentarily appearing,
as the clouds merged,
hiding stars and the moon

Smell of hot pakoras,
crispy and hot,
tempts taste buds,
while tummy craves ,
for one bite

The nature cries,
of happiness,
and sadness ,
in form of tiny droplets
to wash away pain ,
and clean away dirt

Benji Boo

His round eyes
staring deep
into me
with tiny
pinch of curiosity

His mouth is open
with huge tongue out
waiting for treats
I offer everyday

He is my sweetheart;
who melts my heart
distracting me
taking me to world of his

He is carefree
running around the house,
barking at strangers
sniffing strange smells
is what he does
while I am out

He eats whatever
he finds chewable;
shoes or biscuits;
chips are his favorite

He wags his tail;
whines for me;
claws the fence
that separates me and him
while I call him
my Benji Boo

Growing Up

Little tiny girls
dreaming big;
about flying sky;
while growing up

Everything seems simple
for little girls
wanting to grow
tall and huge
with hands so long
to pick up things

Innocent eyes;
Curious minds;
Sweet smiles;
No worries;
Tiny wishes
to grow up soon

Do they know?
Life is a ride
filled with joy;
and bit more grief
with testing times
of patience

Little tiny girls
play games
unaware of future
uncertain and unpredictable

Lessons of life
learnt hard way;
bearing little pain;
shedding tears
while growing up
