Benji Boo

His round eyes
staring deep
into me
with tiny
pinch of curiosity

His mouth is open
with huge tongue out
waiting for treats
I offer everyday

He is my sweetheart;
who melts my heart
distracting me
taking me to world of his

He is carefree
running around the house,
barking at strangers
sniffing strange smells
is what he does
while I am out

He eats whatever
he finds chewable;
shoes or biscuits;
chips are his favorite

He wags his tail;
whines for me;
claws the fence
that separates me and him
while I call him
my Benji Boo

Growing Up

Little tiny girls
dreaming big;
about flying sky;
while growing up

Everything seems simple
for little girls
wanting to grow
tall and huge
with hands so long
to pick up things

Innocent eyes;
Curious minds;
Sweet smiles;
No worries;
Tiny wishes
to grow up soon

Do they know?
Life is a ride
filled with joy;
and bit more grief
with testing times
of patience

Little tiny girls
play games
unaware of future
uncertain and unpredictable

Lessons of life
learnt hard way;
bearing little pain;
shedding tears
while growing up

Him always

His sweet smile;
that lit his eyes;
carefully hiding excitements;
he will share
soon , very soon

His eyes
bore into me;
for mysteries
I will unravel
slowly and slowly

Oh! His touch,
my body shivers,
even when our hands touch
for brief few seconds,
short and sweet
yet seemingly long

His strong perfume
casts magic,
charm me
to dream filled,
with sweet love

His voice
lyrical sometimes;
masculine sometimes;
make me want,
to hear him many many times

Being with him,
for hours forever.
is what I want
right now always

Passion

Passion, red and hot;
driving me mad;
making me crave
for soaring heights

Emotions within me;
sometimes postive;
sometimes negative;
make me fly high
or fall down the sky

The climb is hard;
everyone says;
maybe they are fearful;
or wary of my success;

The distance is long;
not very long;
but filled with blocks;
stopping me;
every time I step forward

Life is difficult;
like bed of thorns
pricking every time
I step on them

I don't give up;
I can't give up;
I am up already;
fearless of falling
while my passion
stays strong

Diya

Sh
ShShe's invisible girl
    oblivious of her surrounding
     with thin hair
    petite body
   neither pretty
    nor brainy

She's Alice in wonderland;
always in fantasy
in our own world
non existent in reality

She's struggler
a loser or failure
yet she never stops
though she is behind everyone
World has different names
for her kind
but we know her
as Diya

Diya-My first novel in progress which I will presenting in short episodes in my next blog this weekend. Have taken 12 years to conceive the idea. Hope you will enjoy it.

Freedom

Our restless mind;
Our tired souls;
Our lifeless bodies;
wants to be unbounded
by strings of pain

 Impossible it seems,
 to be independent;
 to be free
 from chains of imperfections

Days marked every year,
by people like us,
the day we got free,
from foreign  rules,
yet we are not free

Experiences of life;
memories sweet or bitter;
views of society;
relations we make;
tie us until death

Freedom is
what we do;
what we speak;
what we wear;
without worrying society

It's not politics;
It's not societal views,
It's not religious virtues;
It's us only us;
who can untie
ourselves from bounds
of ignorance

The Childhood days

Curious eyes
wandering everywhere;
observing new views;
relearning old tricks;
during childhood years;
sweet filled innocence

Play times;
eagerly waited;
by innocent souls
alluring them
towards fun and merriment

School times
colourless plain;
yet seem golden
during last days
filled with pain

Small fights;
everlasting love;
unbinding relations;
old buddies;
stay young forever
while we grow

Sleep worry free
as world goes round;
day night changes;
minutes fly;
but life must go on
is their lesson
to all old and wise

The wish to grow soon;
quick and fast;
no work only play
remains hidden lie;
pretty soon;
tiny ones will know
