It is sunny day,
streams are dry,
cattle pride walk faraway,
for flowing water
and green grass
Atlast they find
an oasis in dryland,
promising water
that can quench their thirst
not hunger
The cattle fulfill
till it is time
to continue journey
for the love of life
An innocent calf
stranded alone
away from mum
away from it's own
while danger lingers
around his life
in form of lioness
looking for a kill
As she crouches,
towards him,
his life gets shorter,
and death is smiling
at it's youngest victim
She is very close
to her victim
but something stops her
from having first bite
instead she brushes
her face next
to her new son
who is not her kind
