Childrens of War

Children of War,
innocent and unaware
of beautiful life
outside their world

Their eyes filled
with solemn memories
and dreams of
peaceful life

them every night
with the same events

replaying in their minds

The pain of losing
someone dear to them
is worse than
the pain of losing
a limb or leg

They only desire
for beautiful sunshine
and playground
where they could play
like any normal child
